The facts, and why we exist
Climate change is caused by greenhouse gases — like CO2 — that trap heat in our atmosphere. The result: heatwaves, droughts, and extreme weather events, all growing more frequent. Wildfires, in California, Greece, or Australia, are becoming larger, more frequent, and harder to contain.
On consumption, the numbers don't lie: humanity is consuming resources today as if we had 1.7 Earths. If everyone lived like the average American, we'd need five planets. Every year, the world produces more than 2 billion tons of waste, and less than 20% of it is recycled. That's exactly why Save The Planet exists.
Four clear priorities
1. Raise Awareness
Spreading the word on climate change and overconsumption — because you can't fight what you don't understand.
2. Reduce Waste
Promoting recycling in schools and local communities.
3. Responsible Consumption
Encouraging everyone to buy less, and buy better.
4. Support Clean Energy
Backing the shift toward energy sources that reduce carbon emissions.
"One Planet, One Chance"
That's our motto — as simple as the truth usually is.
